A few days ago Peter, one of the designers of these new Tenba bags, flew to Puerto Rico to share his creations with me in person. Although I have never been one to get excited about a camera bag, this experience has given me a new appreciation for how much work goes into creating a product like this, and just how tough these new Tenba bags are.
Built from water-repellant 1680D ballistic nylon and reinforced with a rigid polypropylene shell that withstands up to 500 pounds of force, the Roadie v2 Spinner 21 is made to protect your investment. YKK zippers, stress-point reinforcements, and a 280g brushed tricot interior ensure every detail is premium and built to last.
Inside, the customizable layout can house up to three mirrorless, DSLR, or cine cameras, 10 lenses (up to 600mm), a 16-inch laptop, and even a portable lighting kit. The adjustable hook-and-loop dividers keep your gear tidy, while the hidden AirTag pocket adds a modern layer of security.
Mobility is where the Roadie truly shines. The four smooth-rolling spinner wheels glide easily across any surface, and Tenba even offers optional backpack straps, letting you carry the case hands-free across sand, mud, or stairs. A drop-in tripod carrier makes stowing your tripod effortless, and the Add-A-Bag strap lets you stack it onto other luggage.
One of the smartest touches is the checkable laptop protection board, which replaces your laptop in the front pocket when you need to check or ship the case—so you can travel with peace of mind.
Although I've specifically been talking about the Roadie v2 Spinner 21 Air Case, which is their toughest version. There are three other bags in the "Roadie V2" series: The Tenba Roadie v2 Roller 24, Tenba Roadie v2 Spinner 22, and Tenba Roadie v2 Spinner 21 International. Each of these bags has been designed with different airline regulations in mind.
If you're looking for one of the toughest "soft cases" for your camera gear, look no further than the Tenba Roadie v2 Spinner 21 Air Case.
