Canon hasn't had any rebates on camera bodies lately, so I'm pretty pleased to find that there are a batch of rebates incoming for the 5D MKIII, 6D and 7D. Though the 7D is probably on its way out soon, deals on the 6D and the 5D MKIII are always welcome. The 5D and 7D are now $200 off, while the 6D got a slim, but still appreciated, $100 off. All the lens kits are $200 off, and many include freebies that B&H throws in (like a bag, memory card and/or tripod).
5D MK III (body only): $200.00 off, to $3,299.00
5D MKIII with 24-105mm f/4 L Lens: $200 off, to $4,099
6D (body only): 100 off, to $1,899
6d with 24-105mm f/4 L Lens: $200 off, to $2,399
7D (body only): $200.00 off, to $1,299
7D with 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens:$200.00 off, to $1,599
7D with 28-135mm f/3.5-5/6 IS Lens: $200.00 off, to $1,499
Your numbers are off with the 6D kit. its $2399 not $3299
Whoops. My bad. Sorry about that.
It is interesting that I've bought mine 5Dmk3 for under $3k and now the "deal" is for $3.3k
They're probably quoting "Recommended Retail" Prices, not the actual shop prices which can vary.
I picked mine up for $2,900 about 8 months ago. BH and Amazon both showing it as $3,300 with rebate. :/
a couple months ago, Canon required all resellers to sell at the suggested price. No more discounts unless specified by Canon. This was pretty big news when it happened. Thats why you got yours for under the recommened price, you bought it before the new requirements.
Wow. Lucky me I guess ;)
feckers!!
Funny how many of these prices match the prices of Canon refurbished product from Canon USA direct store, for example:
