On Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM eastern daylight time B&H is hosting a panel discussion with special guests Eduardo Angel, David Flores, and Mathew Frazer who will explore and discuss the new 4K Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4. The GH4 has a lot of hype behind it, and for good reason- The camera is shaping up to be a video monster. True professional 4K video with 100 Mbps internal recording in a compact body. The GH4 was just released and has already become an invaluable tool for many videographers, wedding photographers, indie filmmakers, documentarians, and music video producers, as well as hobbyists seeking an accessible pro-quality hybrid.
The GH4’s legacy as a cinematic video production camera stretches back to the GH2. As a groundbreaking mirrorless camera with a Four Thirds sensor, the GH2 made its debut in 2010, and users flocked to it for its outstanding Full HD video quality – then they began modifying the camera’s video codecs to further improve upon that quality, and a legend was born. Panasonic supported the GH2 users’ contributions – in fact, when the GH3 replaced the GH2 in 2013, Panasonic included many of the concepts that appeared in the very code the community had created. Now with 4K, and many other new features, Panasonic offers the latest incarnation in a celebrated line.
The event is webcast, and you can register for it here. See images and videos shot by the panelists and other early-adopter GH4 users. The expert panel will discuss your feedback and answer your questions.
