Edwin, great detail in your Waxing Gibbous Moon! your images including Mars however could not (in practical sense) have more negative space. A dead give away is the need to direct the viewer/audience's attention to an element in your image.
Hi Paul, thanks for the comments, I thought the moon shot was pretty good, especially for hand held. I agree, I would have preferred to have Mars closer to the Moon, but Mars was just not having it! Unfortunately, we can't arrange celestrial models as we can arrange terristrial models. But I was keen to get Mars in proximity to the Moon so I took the shot. I'm trying to get as many planets as I can in proximity to the Moon.
Edwin, I said nothing wrong with the moon shot!
wasn't there just a big planetary alignment within the last several weeks?
I don't arrange terrestrial models in my photography.
Well maybe next time around, as to clouds I'd think you'd be use to them I figured light pollution would be a problem too. Maybe you'll have to travel some with your celestial photo endeavors.

I know, I was agreeing with you! Yes, Mars was closer to the Moon some time ago, but unfortunately, it was cloudy.

Yes, travelling to a dark sky location would be great, need to make the time.
Making Time that's an ambitious trick, you could just save for a space tourist flight ;)
Well, I live at the home of time - Greenwich, so I should be able to find some time :-)
I agree ... so time travel comes easy for you ;)
Sorry to pop your bubble ... “Time is an illusion.” - Albert Einstein
Tell that to my aching back and knees :-( Time waits for no one.
Hey all you can do is let go of the pain.
Time waits for no one I have to look into the origins of that one. That's were we photographers come in "preserving fractions of time and space"© to share with the world.
Edit - Not the best song by the Stones!
