My inspiration for the overall look and feel of the photo is Magritte. It is based on the theme of Love. Shot with a single AD200 in a 43" Westcott softbox. The wall is a composite that comes from a photo I had taken in Burano, Italy (less touristy fishermen's island) which has beautiful little houses with colorful walls, windows and doors. The apples are a painting by an old master (copyright-free) that I download from the museum's website.
These photos were taken just outside of a small town in central Portugal.

Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.
