As the sun warmed the sandy beach, a tern stood lazily in the sand, with its dark eyes slowly scanning the shoreline. Suddenly, the bird let out a loud yawn, revealing its pink throat and sharp beak. It stretched its wings and shuffled its feathers, as if waking up from a nap.
