On the right hand side I have an octabox and the bottom left I have a reflector to soften the shadow a little.
To the left, I have another studio lamp with an umbrella with a reflective white inside, which I use as a hair light.
The simplicity of a studio, two stands, with a slat between, a few squeeze clips to clip-on book-white paper and you have a great studio that lets you make beautiful, atmospheric photos.
No matter what kind of decor you use during a photo shoot, it is primarily meant to enhance some of the atmosphere.
The emphasis should mainly be on the way you portray a person, my point of departure is that the picture should be a reflection, how to be a photographer with the model, that's in my situation, with a lot of rest and respect.
