Sterling in silhouette
I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.

An afternoon out on the water
It was mid September late in the afternoon, a group of sailboats were out on the water enjoying the weather, there was a soft breeze blowing, pushing on the sails.

Thanks for posting Hank. I love the feeling of flow in this image, and the strong composition.
Can you let us know what speed you used to capture? That will help others who may wish to try something similar.
As you may have seen in the discussion I attempted something similar with a goal of capturing the flow and formulation of waves at the beach - it's difficult to capture those fleeting moments in a meaningful way.
