Just to make those interested in the 'ITR' style of creating images aware, I have updated my website with several new informational guides. These push beyond the basics and brings the reader up to date with the tips and tricks I have discovered over the years.
The guides can be found on my website under the 'ventosa ITR guide' top navigation option, here's a link to the overview;

I'm hoping this will help others gain a better understanding of the process and elevate their own artworks. If you haven't already tried it, the process is a lot of fun and always produces interestingly mysterious results.
Thanks to Jennifer Wise who acted as my test subject and provided valuable feedback. Comments as always are welcomed and fully appreciated.
Just incredible information Alan, thank you for putting this all together.
These articles are seriously good stuff. They take you from initially thinking before taking your initial images to post process thinking about your image placement and what you want to achieve to carefully detailing the layering/opacity process. Alan covers everything and leads you up to the point where the next step is to use your creativity.
