I wanted a light-weight, travel video/snapshot camera so I got an a6000 with the standard, 16-50 kit lens - after extensive YT research. I went out yesterday to take some test shots to see how this holds up against FF with good Sony lens. Not bad at all.
This is a highly cropped shot of some seed or pod - so the quality isn't the highest. But it's awfully cool!

Looks like your research paid off, Charles. The image held up pretty well for being highly cropped. I just checked out the a6000. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. My budget is very small so I got the "oldest" model. Later models - which means better color science, etc. would be the inexpensive a6300 and the newer a6100. (Yes, the later model has the lower number.)
