I got much better results cutting out a square in the center and taping aluminum foil.
While my new and improved "Nifty-Fifty" was setting on the granite counter top I set the aperture with a straight pin. That way the pin hole was the size of the tip and not the entire needle as before.
Landscape: 6 seconds ~ ISO 50 ~ 50mm
Leaves: 13 seconds ~ ISO 50 ~ 50mm
That seems to have done the trick Dean. Are these straight out of camera or was the vignette added later?
Vignette is out of camera. When I was viewing images on Google, it appears that some vignette is inherent.
It is possible to crop the photo to eliminate any vignette,
