Night Out

Is it me? I don't see any postings except those in answer to my own postings on any Fstoppers group I follow since before Halloween. Is nobody posting anything? Or am I having some technical problem that I have not noticed?

This may be my last posting unless I see some other activity. I don't have to post to see my own stuff.

FWIW, I shot all of these after sunset. Each of them was generated from five, hand-held, bracketed exposures, each separated by two stops. Since Nikon does this by adjusting the shutter speed, occasionally I have had to delete the brightest image because that had the slowest shutter speed. Maybe there was a day when I could have hand-held a 35mm lens at 1/8 second, but that day is long past, especially with Harry tugging at the leash.

Hi Andrew, I am seeing all the discussions but am no longer receiving notifications when new posts are added, or comments received. I am only seeing this one as I drilled down to the group to take a look.

If you are only seeing your own posts try clearing your browser cache, or try viewing in a different browser, or on phone etc.

Your images show an interesting concept, I love the way you are always looking for new ways to create whilst on your walks.

Thanks, Alan, I see what you mean. This appears to be an Fstoppers problem rather than something we are doing (or not doing.) I have tried doing what you suggested to no avail. I can drill down, as you say, and see there has been other activity, but this is all very inconvenient.

I have informed FS of the notifications issue and will let you know if they respond.

I've also not been getting notifications. I thought that the group had died out over the month of November, but then it turned out I just wasn't getting notified.

I did receive a notification for this update Matthew, so it’s either intermittent or perhaps FS have resolved the issue.
For now, please assume you need to check……
