Non-Colorization ~ reversing the process.

My wife sent me a link to an article about Orotone Photography, so I thought I would try to mimic the Orotone look by changing a Color Photo.

The process would try to Reflect the Gold tones rather than the Yellow or Orange tones. Reflect...see what I did there? That's this months Photography Challenge.

The first photograph is a JPEG of an unedited RAW file

The second is my attempt. It took so many layers and filters.... Any thoughts?

I really like the result Dean, the colorization produces such a vintage look.
Of course the subject has to match the effect, this would not work (or would it???) on anything modern.
