Black and white is harder for me to appreciate when there's a lot going on, BUT you accomplished it very well here. Great job on this photo. I love the textures, composition, and the contrast. Good job!

Hi Marius. As Jennifer points out there is a lot (of good things) going on in this image and I feel the 'upstairs message gets a bit lost.
I think that if you wish to maintain that story a closer crop may help eliminate some of the distraction. Here's a quick edit just to demonstrate, but as always, your perception is the one that counts.
