Notification of blog entry

Just to let you guys know that I have posted a new blog entry featuring a number of favorite impressionistic images taken during my New York trip.

If interested, I'd love to hear which if any appeal, just to get a sense of the taste of others.

Great blog post, AND with the ability to comment - LOL! Nice selfie too!

Thanks for the kind words Jenny. Ha, I was wondering who might be the first to catch on to that. The 'selfie' was art f an experiment to see if I could capture folks face on as they walked in my direction.
This proved to be a difficult task, especially when trying NOT to draw attention.

For me, so many of these street impressionistic shots rely on how well all the elements i.e., clothing, pose interact with the scene. #1 works best in terms of what I like, but I'd prefer for the main subject to be the solo focal point. Having both the woman in the white and the yellow man leave me wanting less (and more).

Hi Robert. Thanks for your input, it's so good to hear your voice again.

I hear what you are saying on the shots - here's a couple of alternatives that may sit better with you.

BTW - I notice that you have no pics at all in your profile but your website (http://arklight.studio/) is full of wonderful work. Just curious as you slip under the radar.

New ones are nice as well. I still prefer the one of the woman in the white dress that you posted originally even with the secondary subject. It's not really a matter of not liking certain ones - more just liking the other better.

Appreciate the kind words on my site BTW. TBH, I never thought to upload because I don't really think of FStoppers as a portfolio site. I regard it as more of the dying breed of photographer communities to exchange ideas.
