A ship at sea in a storm

While I was onboard the Overseas Washington heading towards Valdez Alaska, it was just the beginning of a storm, you would rock and you would roll, you got use to it. There were days on end when we would be in seas with 30+ rolls, and seas that were bigger than 30 + feet. You just learned to live with it. You hear about cruise ships get hit with a "Roque Wave" and people scared to death...makes me laugh because that is how we rode all the time! You gotta just love the ocean and the power of the sea.

That looks like a pretty scary ride Don. You have certainly captured a sense of the surrounding drama in this image, well done!

Use to sail years ago…biggest seas I ever been in were 75 ft

This really does capture all the intensity of a storm at sea, and you've captured the excitement of it. Almost as if all the ship parts are on deck and doing what they need to do to stand!
