Feb challende w/o snow

Snow covers all distractions and makes life easy. It becomes way more tricky to achieve a minimalistic photograph having no snow. All the distractions need to be hided in a good way. Just 2 examples how I tried to succeed.

The 1st is a meadow in autumn , just providing a simple grass surface and three trees nearby a trail. Shooting uphill helped to isolate the trees.

The 2nd image is the waterfall Kozjak in Slovenia. A well known spot. The web is full of it - with then "standard perspective". My position was at the entry to the natural cave made by the water. I like the half way hidden fall, making me curious what further I will find.

Great examples, thanks for sharing Dg9ncc! I love the stark contrast and graphical nature of your waterfall image.

Both great shots! I find my eye drawn to the first one most. The single cloud perfectly aligned over the trees brings an almost surreal feeling to it
