Nice shot, Steven. I appreciate the texture of the steps that the bit of light exposes in contrast with the solid brightness of the pillars. Perfect for b&w for sure.
The screen was scrolled in a way that cut off the bottom pillar of the photo while I'm typing this. It caught my eye, and I kind of like it better without the bottom pillar in the photo. What do you think?
A great idea in this photograph & developed in the right way. The cut from Jennifer removes the spot on the probably ground, grabbing attention. That makes it even stronger.
Good raw material to further explore the possibilities.
Beautiful. But cutting off the bottom of the lower pillar ruins the symmetry a bit.
Excellent point, thank you!

I agree, this helps overcome the loss of the bottom pillar. Great idea!
Well-spotted Sreven. I really like the light on the stairs, which adds interest to a recognizable element in the frame.
I do agree with Jenny on the cropping, with the lighting on the stairs leading to the lighter element at the top.
Thanks for posting - I hope to see more engagement from you within the group.
