September Challenge ~ Part 2

Experimental
I've never tried the "Droste effect" before so I thought I would keep it simple and limit it to 8 layers.

Abstract
A simple piece of drift wood on the beach. I really found the structure interesting as if something in morphing from a living creature.

Minimalist
The ocean mist and fog blanketed this roost of birds settling in for the night.

Like Jenny I have never heard of the Droste effect, but will have to try that some time. That's a great attempt and thanks for sharing.

On my first look at your driftwood image I saw a large lizard, perhaps a Komodo Dragon, so again not to far from Jenny's take on this.

Had you not pointed out the birds I would have certainly missed them - minimal indeed!
