O.K., I know this is a loaded question, but I decided to leave the pricey camera at home and bring my seldom-used Canon SX740 HS for the IndyCar $1 Million Challenge event held at The Thermal Club in the California Desert near Palm Springs. This pocket point and shoot only captures JPEGS. What do you think?

Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.
