Wanted to try something different. A lot of shots of Minneapolis are fairly close and are only from a handful of bridges so a lot of photos look the same.
I found a higher spot in Minnesota about 15 miles away. This was more of a scouting shot. I'm at 400mm. Morning sunrise hitting the buildings. Autumn starting, leafs changing a little. Not a lot of maple to give the trees much color.
I added a few local adjustments for contrast and darken/lighten some shadows. Took a house out that could be seen in the middle and cleaned up a few polls. Over all it's a good starter shot. Just a different perspective.
Looking forward to visit again for better light or even try a storm shot.
