Haze with ND 3.0

I'm having some problems doing daytime long exposures. I often get shots which are "hazy." Adjusting white balance in post does not really help. I think I have a good filter. It's a Firecrest IRND. Any suggestions on how to minimize this problem?

Attached is a sample shot using cloudy WB and no adjustment in post.

This is the concept for a picture I'd like to submit to a local photography contest whose subject is "Geometries", and I'd like to hear your opinion about it. Not sure about the B&W,... not sure whether it would be...

Don't jump in. The water's not great!

The spring floods have returned to the Montreal/Ottawa area but its not just an excess of rain that is the cause of problems. Many home owners have built or bought in flood zones. A number homes are really cottages that have been upgraded but approving the building of new homes in a 100-year-flood zone clearly now looks like a bad idea. That...

I've been experimenting with long exposures during the day lately. This image was from earlier today. This is a 13 second exposure shot at F8, ISO 200 with a 10 stop ND filter.

Flowing water HDR

Hi, first post here.

I did three shots, 4s, 8s, 15s, then merged them together as HDR. I processed the output filt in three ways:

- The first image is the "cleanest" - or the most similar to reality.
- The second one is contrasty.
- The third one is contrasty + B&W.

Which one do you like more? I love the...

Shot using Sony A73, Sigma 20mm F1.4 lens
Last time I shot at this place back in 2016, I kept my camera on time lapse and headed to our home stay below cause of terrible headache and it rained then. But the picture made it to CWC 2016 exhibition was a bonus.
This time we were blessed with clear skies and of course terrible headache...

Shot from long time ago when I was still learning long exposure photography (and I'm still learning). It was shot at Tanjung Layar Putih, Makassar, Indonesia using Sony NEX 5T, kit lens, and 6 stops circular ND filter

Yes I know about the ugly barge in the picture, once they get moved I will have a much cleaner shot along with adding the stadiums into the shot. 3 shot pano taken at F/6.3, 10 seconds, ISO-100 at 70mm on the D5600 so 105mm with the kit lens.
