He fell in love with photography in the 70's while growing up in southern California. And this love of capturing the human condition beginning with film and eventually digital, has never abated. From launching his career in photojournalism as a reporter in Ogden to documenting the abandoned children in orphanages after communism collapsed in Romania in his book, to teaching photography to young students in the Salt Lake Cit public school system for over 2 decades and now retired, my friend Tom Szalay has never really stopped documenting the world and the people in it...the eye of the master.
Nice tribute, Mark.
