I haven't photographed Caitlin since before Covid. She reached out for a pool shoot. We picked up right where we left off. It's really hot in Texas. Seems like being in the pool is the only way to stay cool. Is it how where you are?

Glad I was already in my car before the heavens opened. It went incredibly dark, but it didn't last for very long, and the sun was soon out again.
I just messed about with the photograph of a luscious, large green tree against a nice blue background with the clouds, but I decided that was boring, so this is what I did to it.
I'm going to be trying this again because I rather like the outcome of this on my lavender in the garden, which has finished for the summer now, so I couldn't go and do it again.

nice pose and expression from the model. Maybe add slightly more light/fill flash to the exposure?
Yeah...that's always a consideration. This one is natural light with a reflector for fill. I've seen a trend recently of slightly underexposed subjects. I thought I'd give it a try. There is light in her eyes which is my main care about.
