golden eye

this saltwater crocodile (about 3.5 metres in length) lives in a waterhole close to a shack I own about an hour south of Darwin (Aust)

Sex in my meadow

This is a too busy image but Dragon and Damsel flies are some of the most colorful insects on earth. I caught these two making love in my meadow.

A scary encounter

I often take a camera with me on daily hikes in the forest. Quite by accident I surprised a Bull Elk and his harem of cows along a park road. Lucky for me a vehicle stopped to view the spectacle.

Bighorn Sheep Ram

Took a quick trip out to Jackson Hole, Wyoming after Thanksgiving, and was able to get some shots of the bighorn sheep out there.

Racoon

This image is from a hiking trip my best friend and I took this summer. The raccoon kindly was near the trail and just hanging out. Any constructive criticism or thoughts are welcomed!

Bison Vanguard

I had to lay in the snow to grab this shot of a herd of bison being led down the road along the Madison River in Yellowstone. Luckily I had a lookout letting me know when to move!

"Pretty in Pink"

With its pink feathers, red eye staring out from a partly bald head, and a spoon shaped bill, the Roseate Spoonbill looks as if it came out of a Dr. Seuss book.

Orick Regal

Looking for creative growth advise. This photo was taken on a misty morning in Northern California with a Sony A7 iv and a Sigma 60-600mm. Photo was taken at 1/60 sec at f/8.0, iso 2000 at 600m.

Contemplative Goose

The goose was just sitting enjoying the view and thinking of life. Shot at the duck pond on Blackheath, London. Sony A7iv + Sony GM 24-70mm f2.8 II

Aerial turf war

When walking at Greentree Park in Kirkwood Mo. I was startled by screeching above my head. As hawks often do four birds mysteriously appeared.

EAGLE

This eagle had a Cormorant and was being attacked by the local Seagulls, although the Seagulls are not in the photo, they would come in and try to steal the Cormorant.

Geese on Lake Washington

'Golden Geese' at sunrise. Feel like I was in the right spot at the right time. The golden morning light, mist rising off the lake, and the geese add something interesting to the photo.
