Osprey
An Osprey was flying searching for food, He circled a few times before flying away.
Down on the water and there is always some type of action with birds...the Canadian Wild Geese always have that photogenic persona...they are actually fun to photograph.
South Padre Island is a great place for birders. So much biodiversity in one location.

This little heron was terrorizing the frogs and tadpoles in my pond. In one image a tadpole is looking into oblivion.

This is a too busy image but Dragon and Damsel flies are some of the most colorful insects on earth. I caught these two making love in my meadow.
I often take a camera with me on daily hikes in the forest. Quite by accident I surprised a Bull Elk and his harem of cows along a park road. Lucky for me a vehicle stopped to view the spectacle.
