I took this picture in Houma, Louisiana. This little guy had just swum up to where I could get a decent photo.
The Canadian Wild Geese are a fun bird to take pictures of. They always seem to pose for a photo.

Out on my stroll, I came across these beauties.
This is a 20 image live stack using the Sony A71V with the 90mm Goss Macro lens. The flash setup is a pair of Meike wireless Mk-R20011 flashes set up on independent flex arms.
This image was taken with the Sony A9 and the 600mm Goss lens.
Never though of looking at the small ponds on rocky beaches for the best anemones, but after a few days I finally managed to find one that allowed a few good photos.

Down on the water and there is always some type of action with birds...the Canadian Wild Geese always have that photogenic persona...they are actually fun to photograph.
South Padre Island is a great place for birders. So much biodiversity in one location.

Took a trip back home to South Louisiana, and as usual the wildlife didn't disappoint.
