Recently I've been shooting some beauty images with the lowest aperture on my Canon 100mm 2.8 lens and i have been getting some pretty good results. How many people here shoot with the same technique?

Your lighting and post look good. Why would you want to make it hard work by shooting at such wide aperture? I like the first photo you posted but it look like it has been edited with one of those packed presets that just blurs the skin and kills any detail in it. I cant find any sharp areas in the photo specially in the eyes which is the first thing you look at in an image like this.
Beauty is all about makeup, skin care, health looking skin and so on. We love to see skin texture and we love to see it clean, crisp and sharp and of course not blurry. There are of curse beautiful close up portraits where only the eyes are sharp and the rest of the image falls into a beautiful bokeh but those are portraits, not beauty images. skin doesn't need to be sharp or squeaky clean or in focus there... a totally different ball game
