Eileen: Love the tonal quality in image one. Great happy pose in image two, but for my personal taste the facial lighting seems just a bit high key across the left ( facing camera) side of the face.
Given I'm writing this from Scotland and not the 'Valley of the Sun' I'm envious around the amount of natural light available to you!
