Bluristic mirror mode
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
That said, photography is always on my mind and I'm sure I'll be taking advantage of new opportunities as they arise.
These are a couple of images I shot earlier, experimenting with the Bluristic mirror mode (shooting with a Negative blend).
The app always produces interesting results (when used in a thoughtful manner), and it's nice to be able to create something a little different.
Just posting to show possibilities and hopefully generate thought. No real need to comment, but it's always nice to know if people are reading these posts, even if it's just to say "Hi".

Always good to see your work, your creative journey, and how your strong esthetic shines through wherever your path takes you Alan.
Hope you are enjoying her retirement.
Good to see your work!
PS -Hi
Thanks so much Julian, it's always great to hear from you. Retirement is great, although there always seems to be a lot to do.
I hope everything is going well in your neck of the woods, and that you're still enjoying getting out there with your camera.
Having "a lot to do" is a great problem. Not having anything to do is so much worse 😂
Things here are challenging and at times frustrating but going well. I'm suffering a little from that Karl Marx syndrome... "The duty to produce destroys the will to create" but this is only a temporary affliction.
Stay safe and enjoy!
Hi🖐️
It has been quiet around here. I discovered that when my wife retired we spend a lot more time together as well... as well as going places where I can take my camera for a walk.
When you mentioned using Mirror Mode it reminded me that I downloaded an Android "Photo" app Mirror Lab. I took a few shots to see who the App may be tailored to... It is very pedestrian and has a lot of various geometric edits to select for either your gallery, your camera, or AI generated. I'm not sure I would choose to pay $10.99 for the "PRO" features, or $31.99 for "MAX".
I'll go out and give it a serious try and post some results.

I like these but I would like to see the first one not in mirror mode and the first one not blurred. I love the lighting and the colors.
An interesting technique that I hadn't given any thought to! Thank you for sharing, I like the black and white tree in particular
