Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
"Reaching" - 'Sambucus nigra', as my wife calls it, or Black Lace Elderberry for the rest of us.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Well, I see the idea, but to my personal preference the girl is way too underexposed, I would've brighten her up a bit and darken the sky a tiny bit :) Aaaand I suggest you not to cut the picture on elbows :P Good job tho :)
Thank you for the input!
I second the elbow crop, but pose is good, and lighting is good except for it really could use a fill light or reflector. If you don't have one, get a big white reflector and play with it. It can do amazing things when shooting someone against a sunset/sunrise.
That is something I do need to get!
I agree the elbow crop and as Joseph said, a reflector or even just a large sheet of white cardboard would have made an amazing difference. Nice work.
