"Fine Art" Lighthouse Set

I've been experimenting with a new editing technique all week on some of my older photos. I decided to do a series on some of my older lighthouse photos. These are some of my favorites.

There was a recent Fstoppers article by Fred van Leewun discussing and explaining how to do this technique for anyone interested.

Very nice. Particularly like the first two with the streaking clouds.

These are great, Kyle! A bit more abstract and painterly than we often see here. They strongly remind me of Australian painter Jeffrey Smart (who worked in colour).

I especially like the first three. No. 2 is possibly the most interesting for longer-term viewing for me, as the extra detail at the bottom provides more for the eye to lnger.

You should do more monochrome! You have a knack for it.

Thanks Chris! Yeah, after learning this technique I'm definitely going to do more like this. I like doing black and whites as well. And I think your right, I think I do have a knack for them. Appreciate your words as always!
