Epicness
Over the past few years, I explored this Dolomite location, hiking many kilometers and documenting spots, distances, and times. This autumn, I finally saw the results of my work.

Zebriskie Ridge in Death Valley is home to some incredible formations and colours. After Sunset, the colours come alive and the landscape becomes a photographer's paradise.
This view of Morella is just breathtaking. Seeing that ancient fortress planted on the mountain, watching over the whole town—it instantly transports you to another century.
Just a few autumnal shots taken in the Peak District, a couple from Padley Gorge and the third image from just below Derwent Dam. Constructive comments welcome as always.
after a fun time shooting the variety of colours and textures near Zebriskie Ridge, we made our way to a location full of clean mudcracks.

A late evening photoshoot along a river bed in Death Valley.
One of my favorite compositions I found during my time in Death Valley. I shot this scene during sunset, however, I got even better (and more unique) conditions during a mid afternoon windy day.
Similar to my previous mudcrack shot, I got low and found a composition that flows nicely from foreground to the distant sun.
This is from this past summer on Sleepy Hollow Lake in Athens, New York. I have a star trail image and a sunset image that are basically this same composition.

I love this area. It feels so ancient and untouched. The Red Cedars in this area are huge, maybe the largest trees in the US outside of the Giant Redwoods on the West Coast.
I posted these in the Minimalist/Experimental group and thought I'd post it here as well.
