Bauhaus Willow

I used Hasselblad X2D II 100C plus 75 3.4 P lens. The original shot was boring. I made it mono and then just used sliders to get whatever would result. This is it. My mentor says it is very like the Bauhaus movement of 100 y ago.

I can't say I'm familiar with the Bauhaus movement (will have to check), but find the image interesting

Yes. I like the way the Willow looks as if it is lit from the inside. I have just spent some time searching the Bauhaus movement, and it covers all sorts of things, not just photography. In photography, it would seem to have more to do with lighting than with the subject. Of course, most of the photographs are what I would call modern art, but from the lighting point of view, I can see what my mentor meant. Although an excellent photographer who gets paid to travel the world to take photographs and gets paid by governments to take photographs of the members, she is very passionate and moves from subject to subject with great ease, and it's not always easy to follow her. Even after being good friends for 27 years!
