The Sun and the Moon: Edited to add last photo

I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

1 - Revealing sunspots. (Square cropped)

2 - Personally, I prefer waning gibbous moons for photographing as it can be shot with a minimum of Earthshine. (Square cropped)

3 - Although I do love photographing as extreme thin as I can see. The phase is 0.04 meaning it is 4% illuminated (Full Moon is 100%)

EDIT:

4 - 7/31 Moon with R5 using RF100-500mm lens at 500mm.
