The price of getting the shot

I just finished a 14-month expedition across Africa. This shot from South Africa nearly cost me my Land Rover. I’ve realised that most of our audience sees the frame, but they never see the 'price' we pay.

I’ve put together a cinematic film from our experience around Southern Africa and the journey to get 6 shots… and the ‘prices we had to pay to get them.

Vintage Lens

Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
