Cold end

A poignant memorial alluding to the cruelty and injustice lived in Budapest. The Jewish people who lived in this city were imprisoned, mistreated and confined to a small neighborhood. As if that was not enough they were aligned along the Danube and killed by firing squad. To these poor souls, they were ordered to remove their shoes before being...

A pitstop during a tiring hike at a coffee estate. It has a lot to offer besides much needed rest. Invitation from an old door expressing its colors and shadows in harsh mid-day sun. leaves an impression long lasting.

Dubai Heart of the City

Recently had the pleasure of visiting Dubai. For the longest time I have been fascinated with the mystery and beauty of this mirage in the desert. I was excited for the challenge I would face in capturing this city through my own eyes. Many have photographed this place and I wanted to do my best in creating something of my own. During my stay I...

A quick break. No time to set the frame. Yet, what one may get is the memory to preserve and share.

Dusty Sunset

Hi all,

I took this on a cruise in the Caribbean a couple of years ago. A lot of dust had been blown off Africa and it made for some interesting lighting. This is pretty close to as shot, just a few edits to sharpen it and a small amount of saturation. I would love some feedback. Do you like the monochromatic feel? Too drab?

Traveling to Milan, Italy for 4 weeks...HELP!

Hey Fstoppers community, I'm traveling to Milan with my wife starting this Tuesday and I'll be there until 18th of April. We are both going there for work, but she's working a lot more than me (9-5 on the weekdays for her; 1 or 2 days a week for me) so I'll have a lot of free time. Anyone have any advice on where to go for great photos, where...

Got my new backpack camera insert - recommended!

Following a question I posted here a few weeks ago, I just received my new backpack insert for my camera gear. It is great! It fits nicely (though a bit tight) into my bag, and stores my gear in what seems to be a superb solution for me.

My backpack is a Deuter one:

Willy's Rock

When we hear of Aklan Province, the first thing that comes to mind is Boracay Beach, a well-known attraction, and a visit to the beach is not complete if you miss seeing the Blessed Virgin Mary's grotto and take a picture of the beautiful image on top of the Boracay Rock in Station 1.

In 2010, the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary was...
