Do you ever shoot with seamless paper as the backdrop? If so, how do you use it? Don’t use it just as a plain background when you can get creative with it. If you're not sure what else you can do with seamless paper, here are 10 creative uses to give you some ideas.
Coming from Jay P. Morgan with The Slanted Lens, Morgan shares 10 different uses of Savage seamless paper and how he gets creative with it. Savage offers a variety of different colors and sizes of backdrop seamless paper to choose from, and while it is relatively inexpensive, a lot of the creative uses that are shown are actually using up sections to be discarded later. Some of these ideas you may not be able to do in a studio that you are renting, so make sure they are ok with you using up some of the paper before doing so. Another way to add some creativity to the backdrop is with light control. Throw some gels on the strobe and focus the light on the seamless paper to give some sections different colors. In another article, we share how Morgan uses seamless paper to add windows on set.

Love the video, great ideas and colors. In Canada a 9' seamless roll goes for $50 to more than $80 per roll. Cutting and tearing it becomes expensive.
This is fun, I love making sets with all kind of paper. I used wedding runner to make seaweed one time.
