Like life itself, all things evolve and change over time. Though as business owners, photographers don't always know what that is going to look like.
The Portrait System is opening its award platform to the public. In the past, the awards and accreditations were limited to current members of the education platform. But now, anyone interested can enter to have their work reviewed and critiqued by five world-renowned judges. If your image ends up being a group winner, you could win $1,500 plus the points you recieve from submitted images going towards earning your spot as an accredited Portrait Master.
I got to chat with Sue about the reintroduction of their in-person conference. Obviously, with COVID, they had to put their amazing in-person conference on hold, instead pivoting to online variations and much smaller offerings. But they are confident that they will be able to bring things back come September and already have a list of amazing speakers that will be announced once they finalize a location and dates.
Lastly, I had the chance to talk with Sue about their free week of education (starting February 7, 2022). Each year, they open the platform to users to get a full week's worth of access so they get a glimpse at the more than 1,000 unique videos and other content they have to offer.
