3 Important Lessons for Landscape Photographers

Landscape photography challenges you to work with conditions you can't control while still employing a range of techniques and bringing your creative vision to fruition. If you would like to improve your images, check out this fantastic video tutorial that discusses three lessons an experienced landscape photographer thinks everyone should learn.

Coming to you from Andy Mumford, this excellent video tutorial discusses three lessons he thinks every landscape photographer should learn. By far, I think the most important lesson is learning to work with the conditions you are given. This is not to say you should not plan ahead for the forecasted conditions and preconceive your images, but that being said, the weather will not always match the forecast, and it can be easy to fall into the trap of trying to force the shot you want when that happens. More often than not, this will simply lead to frustration, especially if you spend a lot of time in post-processing trying to edit the image you want into existence. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Mumford.
