Landscape photography is a challenging genre that takes a variety of skills to produce successful images, and as such, it is important to be a well-rounded photographer when you undertake the genre. This helpful video tutorial features an experienced landscape photographer sharing six skills he feels are important to finding success in the process.
Coming to you from Mads Peter Iversen, this great video tutorial discusses six important skills landscape photographers should have. In addition to the many skills that go into being a landscape photographer, I think having the right mindset is tremendously important as well. It can be a very demanding genre, requiring unusual hours and a ton of physical exertion, as so, when you do not get the shot that you wanted, it can be extremely frustrating and discouraging. That is when it is important to be willing to pivot and work with what the conditions and environment are giving you, and if there is a certain image you absolutely have to have, to be willing to come back to try again. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Iversen.
