‘Exhale’ Is An Amazing Visual Experience of America’s Best Landscapes

In 2014, time-lapse photographer Jesse Attanasio set out on a two-year mission to shoot as much as he could possibly shoot, and explored some of the most beautiful and unique locations on earth. His stunning newly released video, “Exhale,” is the final product of intense planning, lengthy travels, and focused postproduction work. Prepare yourself, this one is a treat for the eyes.

Traveling across Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, Montana, California, Washington, and even up in Alberta, Canada, Attanasio spent the past two years “inhaling” experiences from each of these locations. With “Exhale,” he can finally share what he has been working so hard on.

Out of all of these incredible places that Attanasio explored, he told me that his trip to Glacier and Banff National Parks were most memorable. During this expedition he was graced with good weather and was able to stay up on a remote mountain and watch fire crews work on blazes at Glacier and Banff. “It was my first time in Canada and I only had a few days to spend there … But even then I was able to hit each location I wanted to and enjoyed some Tim Horton’s numerous times.”

Attanasio has set up a web page with more information about each of the locations he shot in, and features many excellent landscape photographs and cool behind-the-scenes glimpses of the traveling life.

Keep up with Attanasio’s adventures on his Instagram and 500px.

His words not mine, and I think it's odd you are judging what should be considered America's best Landscapes. I understand you have a lot of time on your hand so I invite you to www.onelapse.com/exhale to see those clips from Glacier National Park that you did not catch or maybe check out the gallery where I have photos from that trip. I tried my best not to take Cliche photos of touristy spots so I guess I'll take this pointless comment as a compliment. Thanks for checking it out regardless. Maybe next time I'll impress

Thanks for not taking the touristy spots. Jesse 1 Pete 0

Badlands at 2:15 is that July 4th weekend?

Actually that was last March I believe, maybe april

"Sorry Jesse. America is far, far more impressive than what you put in that video."
that was personal, title or not you attacked the quality of the content I put in my video. I'm sorry if you don't agree but is it necessary to state your opinion? I've always lived by, if you don't like something, shut up and do it better yourself.

To be fair, everyone should be allowed to express their opinion. We're not required to agree with it though.

The jealousy couldn't be more transparent . Jesse did a great job.

Guess I'm one of the few to agree with you Pete . Title of "America's best landscapes" is a pretty hefty title to live up to. I feel if it had been presented as the best footage from his adventures, then I'd like it a lot more.

Jesse, you got some nice footage from a small portion of "America". Not to mention all the shots are vegetative landscape with no sign of humans. That might be intentional, but to have a 'best of' I feel you should include more. Why not a scene of Washington DC's rolling hills with Arlington? No video of the Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico, swamps of Georgia? I'm not trying to make out a list of things you dont have, just trying to say... be a little humble man. Pete has a very good point and your response "shut up and do it better yourself" is pretty narrow minded and childish.

This is a video of your particular adventure in a part of America. Those touristy shots, are what draw people for a reason. Instead of just calling them Cliche', maybe try getting shots of something recognizable from a different perspective.

Well looks like I'll have to get myself over to America ASAP then! Beautiful job.

Great stuff! Looks amazing! Thx for sharing your work.

Great stuff Jesse! Where was the last shot taken at 2:33?

Amazing work, Jesse.

Good work Jesse, I enjoyed the video. Don't let critique get to you and ruin your day.

Awesome work Jesse! I especially appreciate the Banff/Lake Louise parts! (being from Canada after all :p)
