Iconic Views of Rocky Mountain National Park That Was Years in the Making

The latest in the “More Than Just Parks” video series has just been released and was worth the wait. On display in beautiful 4K is the vast 400-square-mile Rocky Mountain National Park teeming with mountain vistas and hardy wildlife.

Filmmakers Will Pattiz and Jim Pattiz spent several years, including all four seasons, inside the Colorado park to create “Rocky Mountain.” Cameras used include the Canon 5D Mark IIIBlackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K, and Sony a7R II.

In related news, the Pattiz brothers recently teamed up with the U.S. Forest Service for a campaign called Your Forests Your Future. Soon they will be releasing more of their epic videos in the same vein as MTJP, but focusing on the 193 million acres of National Forests. Below is an introduction to that project which aims to get Americans involved with shaping the future of the nation’s protected forests. I’m happy to see the U.S. parks system recognize and employ the talents of Will and Jim to excite others into starting a discussion of public land management.
