How to Add Ambiance to an Outdoor Portrait With Artificial Light

Outdoor portrait shoots can be a fantastic way to photograph couples in an organic environment that allows them to convey natural poses and emotion. However, nature does not always cooperate. Adding a smidgen of artificial light can be just what you need to really complete a photo. This fantastic video tutorial will show you how to do just that.

Coming to you from Jiggie Alejandrino, this awesome video tutorial will show you how to use a Nanlite Forza 150B continuous light to add a bit of warm light to an engagement photo. What I really appreciate about this tutorial is that it shows how to use artificial light in a way that complements the natural light in the scene. We often think of the use of natural or artificial light as an either-or proposition, but with proper technique, they can easily work together so you can get the most out of the scene without drastically changing the look or working environment. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Alejandrino.
