Rarely is a landscape photo finished when you press the shutter. Almost every image takes some amount of editing to produce a finished product. In recent years, Lightroom has become a far more powerful editing tool, and it is now possible to complete many landscape images without ever heading over to Photoshop. Particularly in an age when it is easy to make drastic edits with just a few quick clicks, it is very easy to go overboard. One of the best ways to keep an eye on things is to step away from your computer for a few minutes after you are done with a batch of photos, then re-evaluate them one more time before you export them.
