Liège-Guillemins Railroad Station

The Liège-Guillemins railroad station (French: Gare de Liège-Guillemins or Gare des Guillemins for short) is the most important railroad station in the Belgian city of Liège in the Wallonia region and was opened in 1842.
The station, which opened in its current form in September 2009 following extensive renovation and new construction under the direction of architect Santiago Calatrava, is located just outside the city center in the Guillemins district. Liège-Saint-Lambert station (formerly Liège-Palais) is closer to the city center.
Guillemins is a stop for Eurostar and ICE trains, making it a hub in the European high-speed rail network. The ÖBB Nightjet trains between Brussels and Vienna also stop here. It is also an important station in the Belgian Railways network (NMBS/SNCB) and the intersection of several IC lines and the Liège S-Bahn. International passenger trains run to Maastricht (S 43), Aachen (S 41) and Luxembourg (IC 33). It is served by around 500 trains per day.
