Liège-Guillemins ( "Calatrava Station" )

The Liège-Guillemins TGV station was designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. The building is a modern architectural ensemble that has been classified as an exceptional work of art.
The artist Calatrava placed particular emphasis on natural light in the station building, which he more than succeeded in achieving with his glass and steel construction. The station forecourt was also redesigned, thus enhancing the entire Guillemins district.
