Sala dei Notari in Perugia

The Sala dei Notari is located in the Palazzo dei Priori, across from Piazza IV Novembre in the center of Perugia. Dating back to the Middle Ages, the hall is accessed via a staircase topped by bronze sculptures of the griffin and the lion, the historic symbols of the city of Perugia. Inside, the Sala dei Notari features a rectangular floor plan with ornately decorated walls surmounted by Romanesque vaults, which highlight the hall’s elegance and beauty. Today, the Sala dei Notari serves as a prestigious venue for public gatherings, choral concerts, and classical music concerts.
