This is probably one of the most cinematic locations in Tuscany – if not in Italy. Gladiator’s Elysian Fields were filmed less than a kilometre away. And during the summer season it’s packed with tourists who come to visit Cappella Vitaleta, the small chapel that sits almost frozen in time on a hill between the historic towns of San Quirico and Pienza, surrounded by fields and farms.
