Reynisdrangar

Imagine what the first Vikings saw when they passed the south coast of Iceland. They were most likely impressed by the almost supernatural Reynisdrangar rock formations near Reynisfjara beach in the coastal village of Vík.

And the Vikings sailed on into southern Greenland all the way to Eastern Canada. I think when they looked at this rock in the rough ocean, many probably thought , why did we ever leave the beautiful safe coastline of Norway and Denmark ....
