What a magical sunrise and moonset in Dyrehaven the other day after the snowfall. ☃️
Eremitageslottet is a small royal hunting lodge located in the centre of the park. Built in the 1730s for King Christian VI, it is renowned for its elegant Baroque style and elevated position overlooking the surrounding park. Originally designed as a venue for hunting banquets, the small palace features a mechanical dining table that can be raised from the kitchen below.
Today, it is one of Dyrehaven’s most iconic landmarks and a popular visitor destination. On this rare occasion of heavy snowfall, cross-country skiers also climbed the hill. ⛷️
